Do you want to be part of a company that’s redefining how human tissues are biofabricated? At Biomotion Technologies, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment. Take ownership of your tasks, solve complex challenges, and see the direct impact of your contributions on groundbreaking technology.

JUNIOR ASSEMBLY & TESTING TECHNICIAN (PART-TIME: 25-30 H/W, F|M|D)

YOUR ROLE

As an assembly and testing technician, you ensure our prototypes and products are properly assembled and tested. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assembling component groups, including pneumatic and kinematic systems
  • Conducting test setups to validate new features and identifying improvements
  • Preparing part sets according to the Bill of Material
  • Producing wiring plans, crimping, and soldering cables

YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong CAD skills, particularly in SolidWorks
  • Personal experience with 3D Printing
  • Attention to detail when observing and documenting your process

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will take the lead in testing prototypes and sub-assemblies of a novel bioprinting system, that is designed to drive standardization in production. You will take complete ownership of your tasks supported by a collaborative team with expertise in mechanical engineering and software development.

We refer to the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 2.073,03 (14x p.a., full-time equivalent), a willingness to overpay is given.

PROCESS ENGINEER (FULL-TIME, F|M|D)

YOUR ROLE

As a process engineer, you are in charge of advancing our quality control system for 3D bioprinting. Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying challenges in supervising the printing of biomaterials and devising solutions, either by implementing fixes directly or coordinating with the team.
  • Advancing methods for process monitoring, supervision, and error correction.
  • Supporting the integration of new technologies, including printhead development and process optimization.
  • Testing new materials with the bioprinter to assess compatibility and performance of the printer and the process monitoring system.

YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Educational background (PhD) in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D bioprinters and familiarity with additive manufacturing methods, material testing, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • The ability to analyze hardware and software issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of control systems, data analysis and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers and software developers, as well as the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will take the lead in assessing and enhancing the process monitoring system of our advanced 3D bioprinting platform, designed to standardize the production of human tissue models. With ownership of your tasks, you’ll work alongside a skilled team in software development and mechatronics to tackle challenges and drive innovation. As you implement specific bioinks on our system, you’ll identify current process shortcomings and engineer novel solutions to improve our quality control process. You will devise novel printhead designs and streamline the process supervision of different bioprinting technologies.

We refer to the collective agreement that states a minimum salary of EUR 2,978 (14x p.a.), a willingness to overpay is given.
